			<description>&lt;p&gt;Task and Roster Management modules were launched today in Locatingus.com's online Event Management Solution.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With event organisers often juggling multiple things at once the new Task Management tool enables you to create an event to-do list, set start dates, due by dates, and assign Tasks to other users. The powerful&amp;nbsp;collaboration tools enable event managers to&amp;nbsp;stay in-control,&amp;nbsp;plan, track and manage multiple tasks in real-time. Task owners can login and update their tasks - making reporting easier for the event manager.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new Roster module gives event managers the ability to create Jobs like Cleaning, Security, Car-Parking etc... They can then create one or multiple Shifts with start times and end times and then assign people (Staff and Volunteers) to those shifts. 			<description>&lt;p&gt;We are pleased to announce today&amp;nbsp;the release of the new SMS / Txt support function for Visitor Arrival Notifications.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h1&gt;Why SMS / Txt&lt;/h1&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When&amp;nbsp;visitors arrive at reception or security control they either check-in using&amp;nbsp;the Visitor Kiosk or they are checked-in by a&amp;nbsp;receptionist or security guard. The check-in process requires the visitor to select the&amp;nbsp;staff member they are visiting (their host). The visitor completes additional site questions, acknowledges the site greeting, and recieves a visitor label/badge.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, Visitor Control does not finish there! - Normally the receptionist or security guard would&amp;nbsp;refer to&amp;nbsp;a staff directory to track down the staff member's details&amp;nbsp;to inform them of their visitor's arrival.&amp;nbsp;Locatingus.com supports this post-check-in process by automatically sending the staff (host) a Visitor Arrival Notification email. These emails can be sent to the staff member and/or their personal assistant and are controlled under the personal Notification Settings for each staff member.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Many customers have stated that&amp;nbsp;staff are seldom at their desk when a visitor arrives AND most do not have their emails re-directed to their cell / mobile phones AND/OR do not have PDA's. The suggestion by many was &quot;could Locatingus.com send the Visitor Arrival Notification as an SMS / TXT to the staff member's mobile?&quot;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This week Locatingus.com&amp;nbsp;released it's new 'Courier and Delivery' tool for unattended receptions. When delivery operators arrive at the reception desk they can register their delivery&amp;nbsp;through the Visitor Kiosk. When the delivery agent arrives at reception they:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Select the&amp;nbsp;items&amp;nbsp;being delivered -&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Parcel (s), Mail, Flowers, Other.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Select 'Yes/No' to&amp;nbsp;- Do you need a signature? and click Submit&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;An email is sent to up to three (3) people in the organisation notifiying them to the presence of a delivery at reception and whether or not a signature is required.&lt;/p&gt;

With only&amp;nbsp;12 mins of downtime in the last 2 years&amp;nbsp;this marks a significant milestone in illustrating the power of on-demand applications, their reliability, and robustness.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Of interest is the fact that 65% of visitors checked into sites using a Visitor Kiosk.&amp;nbsp;25% were checked in by receptionists and security guards in Reception Mode, and the remaining 10% were checked in by staff hosting the visitor from the staff dashboard.&lt;/p&gt;
